Since 2002 I’ve been finding creative solutions for businesses online. The web wasn’t very user friendly, so I became a LAMP developer to build usable websites. Flash became hugely popular, so I learnt ActionScript. Web2.0 brought UX to the forefront so I found a new niche by getting into social, SEO, and support.
For the past six years I've focused on growing software as a service or recurring revenue businesses.
As a part time instructor at BCIT I’ve enjoyed being able to give back and share my knowledge.
What stage is your business in? What can I help you with?
Fire bullets, then fire cannonballs
Launch early, launch often
Always be testing
While working directly with the business owner, I strategized and implemented a new business model. I implemented everything from the website, email marketing, community, SEO, performance marketing and more.
After being hired in Vancouver, I relocated to the US for 16 months and grew the marketing team from one to seven.
Initiated the growth marketing role using search marketing, paid acquisition, and referral marketing.
Worked with the development, sales, and executive teams to align project objectives.
In charge of marketing site including redesign, development, and SEO. Took over the support team and redesigned entire process.
What are you working on? Send me a note and I'll let you know if I can help. Thanks!
